CIA operative Jo tries to balance her personal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped make the squad more authentic in handling guns, clearing houses, positioning, and ground operations, etc….
The authors of the awfully negative reviews of this horror series are entitled to their opinions. However, they are driven by a specific agenda, and they seem to be unnecessarily trivialized.
Many of the negative reviewers are expressing direct subject matter experiences. While Lion may have enough technical oversights to keep it from qualifying as a special operations documentary, there are many other details that it gets right – some surprisingly – that it stands far above.
For example, I, myself, switched to Lion after starting to watch Heart of Stone. I usually enjoy Gal Gadot, but I wanted to see a little more red meat.
From the action and storyline to the relatable cast of characters embodied by a truly stellar cast, it’s all excellently enjoyable!
